To encourage outstanding talents to pursue doctoral studies at the College, and in line with the spirit of industry-academia cooperative cultivation of doctoral students, this program matches the R&D needs of partner companies (or organizations) with the research interests of participating students to conduct research related to medical device technology and biomedical imaging technology. The program offers two tracks: the Five-Year Integrated Master\u2019s and Ph.D. R&D Track<\/strong> and the Four-Year Ph.D. R&D Track<\/strong>. The selection mechanisms are described as follows:<\/p>\n

I. Eligibility<\/h3>\n

    Five-Year Integrated Master\u2019s and Ph.D. R&D Track:<\/strong>
    Admission is open to first-year master\u2019s students. After completing one year of master\u2019s study, students proceed directly to the doctoral program. To obtain the Ph.D. degree, students must complete the program requirements and undertake at least two years of industry-based R&D practice before graduation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Four-Year Ph.D. R&D Track:<\/strong>
    A. Admission for first-year doctoral students: Students must complete program requirements and conduct at least two years of industry-based R&D practice before graduation to obtain the Ph.D. degree.
    B. Admission for master\u2019s students in their second year or above: Students must pass the qualification to directly enter the doctoral program and then complete program requirements and two years of industry-based R&D practice before graduation to obtain the Ph.D. degree.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    II. Selection Criteria for the Five-Year Integrated Master\u2019s and Ph.D. Track<\/h3>\n
