Selection Process

為鼓勵優秀人才研修本院博士班，依產學合作共同培育博士班學生之精神，媒合參與本學程之合作企業(或法人)研發需求及學生研究取向，進行醫材科技暨生醫影像科技相關研究。本學程分「碩博士五年研發一貫模式」與「博士四年研發模式」兩種模式，以下說明甄選機制：

  I.甄選對象

     1.碩博士五年研發一貫模式:招收碩士一年級新生，以碩士修讀一年後逕讀博士，學生需完成本學程修業辦法，並且於畢業前兩年在業界實作研發，始可取得博士學位。

     2.博士四年研發模式:

                  A.招收博士一年級新生：學生需完成本學程修業辦法，並且於畢業前兩年在業界實作研發，始可取得博士學位。

                  B.招收碩士班二年級以上學生：學生需先通過逕修讀博士成為博士班新生後，完成本學程修業辦法，並且於畢業前兩年在業界實作研發，始可取得博士學位。

Ⅱ.碩博士五年研發一貫模式甄選條件

     1.報考資格：本學院內各系、所碩士班一年級生

     2.報名應備文件：

        A.履歷

        B.大學成績單

        C.已發表之著作或研究成果報告及其他有助於審查之資料，如英文能力證明、未來計畫書、參與專題研究計畫及相關學術活動等

      3.評分：書面文件(30%)、口試(70%)

Ⅲ.博士四年研發一貫模式甄選條件

      1.報考資格: 本學院內各系、所碩士班二年級生及博士班一年級生

      2.報名應備文件：

          A.履歷

          B.大學及研究所成績單

          C.已發表之著作或研究成果報告及其他有助於審查之資料，如英文能力證明、未來計畫書、參與專題研究計畫及相關學術活動等

       3.評分：書面文件(30%)、口試(70%)

To encourage outstanding talents to pursue doctoral studies at the College, and in line with the spirit of industry-academia cooperative cultivation of doctoral students, this program matches the R&D needs of partner companies (or organizations) with the research interests of participating students to conduct research related to medical device technology and biomedical imaging technology. The program offers two tracks: the Five-Year Integrated Master’s and Ph.D. R&D Track and the Four-Year Ph.D. R&D Track. The selection mechanisms are described as follows:

I. Eligibility

1. Five-Year Integrated Master’s and Ph.D. R&D Track:
   Admission is open to first-year master’s students. After completing one year of master’s study, students proceed directly to the doctoral program. To obtain the Ph.D. degree, students must complete the program requirements and undertake at least two years of industry-based R&D practice before graduation.

2. Four-Year Ph.D. R&D Track:
   A. Admission for first-year doctoral students: Students must complete program requirements and conduct at least two years of industry-based R&D practice before graduation to obtain the Ph.D. degree.
   B. Admission for master’s students in their second year or above: Students must pass the qualification to directly enter the doctoral program and then complete program requirements and two years of industry-based R&D practice before graduation to obtain the Ph.D. degree.

II. Selection Criteria for the Five-Year Integrated Master’s and Ph.D. Track

1. Eligibility: First-year master’s students enrolled in any department or institute within the College.

2. Application Documents Required:
   A. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
   B. Undergraduate transcript
   C. Published papers or research reports and other supporting materials helpful for review, such as English proficiency certificates, future research proposals, participation in research projects, and relevant academic activities.

3. Evaluation:
   Written documents (30%) and oral interview (70%)

III. Selection Criteria for the Four-Year Ph.D. Track

1. Eligibility: Second-year or above master’s students and first-year doctoral students enrolled in any department or institute within the College.

2. Application Documents Required:
   A. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
   B. Undergraduate and graduate transcripts
   C. Published papers or research reports and other supporting materials helpful for review, such as English proficiency certificates, future research proposals, participation in research projects, and relevant academic activities.
